30 Years, 200+ Implementations
I'm Amer Saeed, an Odoo Functional Consultant. I've spent three decades in the IT industry — long enough to watch ERP go from mainframe green-screens to cloud platforms you can configure in an afternoon, and to learn that the technology was never really the hard part.
The hard part is translating how a business actually runs — its exceptions, its workarounds, its "we've always done it this way" — into a system people will actually use. That's the work behind more than 200 ERP implementations: sitting with finance teams, warehouse staff, and plant managers to map the real process, then configuring Odoo to fit it instead of the other way around.
Today that work runs through OdoCore, an Odoo Silver Partner where I lead functional consulting across ERP, data, cloud, and digitization engagements for clients spanning manufacturing, healthcare, retail, trading, and services — from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
How I Work
Every engagement starts with the real process, not the module list — workshops with the people who actually do the work.
Odoo covers more than most businesses use. I lean on standard functionality first, and reach for custom development only when it earns its keep.
Implementation doesn't end at UAT. I stay through data migration, training, and the first few weeks of live running.
